But it seems that due to fee issues, Anil Kapoor has been forced to leave the fifth installment of the comedy franchise. Actually, according to the report of Mid-Day, producer Sajid Nadiadwala disagreed with the fees demanded by Anil Kapoor. For this reason the veteran actor has left this project.
Now it is being said that the makers are reworking the role of Nana Patekar in the film, because he had a comic pairing with Anil Kapoor in the film. According to a report in Bollywood Hungama, Arjun Rampal is in talks to join this franchise. However, the makers have not yet confirmed anything regarding this.
‘Housefull 5’ will release on fixed schedule
The report further states that despite this major change in casting, ‘Housefull 5’ is on schedule and director Tarun Mansukhani will start shooting the film by the end of August with a marathon schedule in the UK. The film was initially scheduled to release during Diwali 2024, but was then pushed to 2025.
